Hugo Arana

Hugo Arana became famous nation-wide with the legendary television show Matrimonios y algo más (Marriage and More), where he played two characters: “The Bum” and “Huguito Arana”. During his prolific theatrical career, he has worked in renowned plays such as The Pitmen Painters (2012) and Baraka (2008-2011), both directed by Daulte, and the triumphant Made in Lanús (2013). A two-time Martín Fierro Award winner, he also received a Konex Award for his work as a comedy actor on radio and television, a Silver Condor Award for his role in Cautiva (Captive) (2004) and an award for Best Actor at the Huelva Ibero-American Film Festival for the film El viaje hacia el mar (Seawards Journey) (2003).
