Luisa Kuliok

A renowned actress with a long trajectory in Argentine television. She began her artistic career when the acclaimed theatrical director Agustín Alezzo offered her the leading role in Despertar de primavera (Spring Awakening) (1979) by Frank Wedekind. For this performance, she received a Talía Award for Best Female Performance, awarded by the Municipal Theater General San Martín. She reached international fame with her leading role in the telenovela La extraña dama (The Strange Lady) (1989) and received the Telegatto International TV award two years in a row. She would then be a part of great successes such as Cosecharás tu siembra (You Reap What You Sow) (1992), Más allá del horizonte (Beyond the Horizon) (1994), as well as work for joint international productions such as Renzo e Lucia (1992), Milagros (Miracles) (1993) and Senza peccato (Without Sin) (1994). She returned to her passion for theater in 1996 and has dedicated herself sporadically to cinema and television ever since. Muerte en Buenos Aires (Death in Buenos Aires) is her return to the big screen.
